Money Saving Suggestions

Any recommendations for cost cutting of expenses?

    We have talked to several people that have had window film installed to reduce the heat intrusion through the windows. We decided to have it done and look forward to checking our JEA bill...I think we should own stock in the place giving how much we pay them each month!! We think by the comments we have heard we should see some savings. We will know in about a month or so. I will post our results in October 2010.

    We had the window film installed on 7/19/10. We had alot of products to choose from and we were happy with the company we selected as well as the film choice. We have been tracking out JEA bill since we moved in in 2008 and have noticed a slight savings. I think we personally feel a difference in the middle of summer. I think, over time, we will recover our expense. More importantly, we DO feel a difference and do not notice a "temperature change" from room to room. It seems to have smoothed out the extreme heat we felt when we entered out bedroom (Spoonbill)!
